Our Campaigns

The AFT has mounted national campaigns on a number of the union's priority issues. Among the current campaigns: Making a Difference Every Day (highlighting the vital work of AFT members); Building Futures Together (improving teaching and learning); Building Minds, Minding Buildings (promoting green schools); and AFT FACE (reversing the staffing crisis in higher education).

Making a Difference Every Day

The AFT includes teachers, school support staff, higher education faculty, government employees and healthcare workers who make a difference every day in the lives of our children and communities. While their important work often goes unrecognized, lately their rights to have a voice on the job and at the bargaining table are under attack. Building Futures Together

Building Minds, Minding Buildings
